COUNTRY ARTIST JOANNA MOSCA READIES NEW RELEASE
"Have a Little Mercy" Hits Radio This Month

(NEW YORK, NY) - Country artist Joanna Mosca is putting the finishing touches on her upcoming not-yet-titled EP, which is being produced by Nashville's hottest production team, New Voice Entertainment.

"I love the way they approach music. They're all musicians and their goal was to help me hone a sound that's truly my own," says Mosca of New Voice Entertainment, which is composed of Rich Redmond, Kurt Allison, Tully Kennedy, and David Fanning. The production team is the genius behind superstar duo Thompson Square, American Idol's Kristy Lee Cook, and Parmalee. And, three of the four members (Redmond, Allison, and Kennedy) are also the band behind multi-platinum selling artist Jason Aldean.

Mosca's new material digs deeper into country music with a definitive lyrical slant. "It was important that it include material strong women could relate to, as well as songs that reflect a sense of humor and fun," she says.

One such song is the first single, the blues-tinted country-rocker, "Have a Little Mercy." The song takes on the challenges of love and features the infectious sing-along chorus of, "Have a little mercy/ I don't wanna want you, want you/ But I do, I do/ So please babe, you gotta go a little easy/Here's my heart, but if you take it, take it, don't break it, break it."

Mosca's had a busy past few years. Her last release, 2012's Let It All Begin EP, spawned the MusicRow Chart hits "Where Does Good Love Go" (a sizzling duet with Lonestar's Richie McDonald), "Dream On Savannah" and "I Guess That Says It All," and landed her on CMA's Artist To Watch List for 2012. Likewise, her 2011 self-titled debut generated three Top 10 singles on the FMQB Chart and her self-penned song, "Keep On Going," reached Top 30 on the Billboard A/C Chart.

She's also been garnering new fans and impressing the press with her live shows, which featured opening spots for LeAnn Rimes and Martin Sexton in 2013, as well as performances at the CMA Music festival and Country Radio Seminar. In June, Mosca is slated for the CMA Music Festival in Nashville June 5-8, and at Tuesdays on the Town on June 24 in Hampton, Iowa.

More tour dates and album details will be announced shortly.
